Well, in my opinion, you are smoking the budweiser of cigars..Punch and Macanudo rollers roll over 700 cigars a day, which is way too many-and the chances of getting one plugged is great...there is very little to do about a plugged cigar...they sell an item called "the poker" that is basically a thin metal rod that pokes a hole through the cigar...but the cigar will not taste the same due to the way it will draw..

I recommend you try smoking cigars from small companies that grow their own tobacco and roll their own cigars..Brands such as, Oliva, Torano, and Fuente. The cigars have much more flavor profiles, and have very little construction and burn problems.

All the Best

First off make sure your cigars are properly humidified, this could be a factor. Also realize premium cigars (not machine made) are handmade, which means sometimes mistakes are made and there are imperfections, like being rolled too tight thus restricting the ability to draw.

As you are smoking the cigar the heat will begind to loosen the tobacco a little bit. Take your thumb and pointer finger and gently "massage" the tobacco starting at the top by the cherry, and work your way down. This will resolve most draw issues.

Second thing you can do is take a paper clip, straighten it out and gently insert it into the cigar and loosen some of the tobacco that way, just be gentle with it. I only do this with more severe draw issues. Finaly you can use a bullet or other device to shoot through the cigar, but I am not a fan of that method.

One method is just rolling the cigar back and forth gently between your fingers. When your doing this it can clear up clumps and may expand the binder making for an easier draw.

They make draw poker tools to fix cigars too. I see them all the time in cigar catalogs but have never bought one. Here is an example http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigars/search/accstats.cfm/inum/24192

I didn't look around too hard but you get the idea of what to look for. Most models hold the cigar in place and clear it.

Tobacco does clump. Try holding the lighter on it for a few seconds.. even while it is lit.

Throw them away, along with all your other cigars. They'll only give you mouth cancer.
