Because having an affair with someone of the opposite sex is completely traditional behavior. So, nothing wrong there. It's only same-sex relationships (even if monogamous) that are disparaged.

As far as Clinton, it's amazing how many people ignore the fact that he was acquitted (not convicted) of perjury. But then again, lying to Congress only seems to be a problem when Congress is controlled by the opposite party. Lying to Congress when it is controlled by the same party is fine. Just as the White House.

Well lefty, you are sadly misinformed and that is to be expected since you are a lefty. Old Newt got caught with his pants down but he admitted to it. Old Bill got caught with his down and actually lied about it. Since he lied under oath, that made the lie something known as PERJURY to us righties. We also know that PERJURY is a FELONY and is an impeachable offense. So what facts are you referring to? There is nothing that prohibits Newt from pursuing justice even though he was not a completely innocent husband. Do you understand? Bill Clinton COMMITTED PERJURY WHICH IS A FELONY! Bill and Hillary also did this::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::THIS WILL OPEN YOUR EYES by Paul Harvey

And now the Clintons are "Family Values" people?

Oh, that's right, they got that way after 2004.

Newt wasn't in the White House, in the Oval Office having sex with Monica and ignoring threats from abroad. Threats that would make 9/11 a reality.

Clinton committed pergury....and he should have been thinking about our country, not his sexual desires.

For a moment, I thought you were talking about "right-handers." lol Then, I thought you were talking about Bush. LOL Newt, MY whatever guy?! Don't think so! Don't you know that, worse than that, he was having an affair, either this one or another, while one of his wives was dying of cancer?! I don't know about you, but I find it amazing that he can have ANY affairs, let alone so many! Is he rich? That might explain it! Oh......two wrongs don't make a right.

It looks like Newt is saying that Clinton was only guilty of perjury and that the underlying crime was no big deal.

Sounds like what Democrats have been saying for the past decade.
