Well, don't be afraid of the outcome. I had the surgery a loooong time ago and have never had trouble. ever. Just be sure to do what you're told, do your physical therapy and the knee will do great.

You are in great hands. It's fairly routine surgery which is good. Your doctor went to med school then on for several more years to be an orthopedic surgeon so they're more than qualified.

They're going to give you something for your nerves before the surgery so you'll do fine. Just remember it's going to be okay. Your knee is going to feel so much better, it's a small price to pay for a pain free knee!! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

If you are still nervous in the morning call some friends and family and ask them to pray for you, your doctor and for a speedy recovery. You'll do fine hon. I'm sure you'll do great.

Any type of surgery should make you nervous, but its not to evasive not real big scars. They can give something for nausea if you suffer from that after surgery?!! Relax as much as you can.
Be sure to get pain medicine prescriptions, for after the surgery. And take it easy for several days after the surgery, but try and keep moving it a little bit otherwise it will become stiff and then harder to move around. Best of luck?!?!?!?! Also even if the pain medicine makes you sick to your stomach try dairy products like yogurt to keep every thing down, because you need to eat.

I am recovering from that surgery now. Just relax, the recovery does take some time though. Will be a lot of physical therapy.

I went with allograft (cadaver tissue). Less trauma to your body and less pain in recovery. Might be a thought for you.

Keep up with the flexibility exercises.

You will do fine. Surgery is not all that lengthy. Will be very sore, possible a little swelling to the area after. You will be put through some physical therapy after, and then probably be ordered to go to PT after hospital DC and exercises to do at home. I prefer ibuprofen for pain, and lortab for more painful times. Just do as your doctor says and don't try to rush things. Just cause it feels better doesn't mean it has totally healed.

youre gonna be sore but its ok. Its a simple procedure that happens everyday. I know that it probably doesn't make you feel any better and you are still nervous, but everything will be fine! don't worry! We used to see 7-10 patients a week with the same surgery!

Just follow the advice your doctors give you after the surgery, it will take time to heal. Don't try to rush it. Good luck.
