Derive the arctan

How it is done.

Any help be awesome

I'm not quite sure what the arctan is, however if you want to find the derivative of anything, theres a short cut. You can multiply the coefficent by the exponent and subtract the exponent by one. then if needed simplify. hope it helps

DO you just mean what is the derivative of arctan?

If so, it is just a standard intergral
the answer is

1/((x^2)+1)
