In light of the LSU womens basketball coach situation,I realize
this is the same as me,a straight male, being on a wnba,or any
women's team, saying i wouldn't be attrached to any of my teamates. This IS NOT A GAY BASHING QUESTION.
Just some honesty and food for thought.

this is an interestin question in light of John Amechi. how many people have actually pondered this question?

in light of this though, what should it matter if your team mate is gay. just because they are, doesnt necessarily mean they like you. everyone whinges and complains saying "no i wouldnt play or share a locker with a gay guy". and ok thats fine thats your opinion. but we shouldnt flatter ourselves into thinkin the guy actually wants us!!!!!

i think gay or mixed teams are fine. everyone is grown up to know what is right and wrong in situations and because of that, there shouldnt be any problems.....if anything, straight guys might get self conscious of themselves....and if they do, does that mean they actually want to impress the guy?

As a Man I would only be comfortable with a gay teamate or coach if it was a cute girl with a cute lesbian lover. No BBDs and definately no Gay guys. . . just sweet sweet lesbians! I can't blame another women for loving the nani as I love it myself.

I have no problem with a gay coach as long as he does not start drawing up gay plays.

I would have no problem with a gay coach or team mate on my hairdressing team or even on my Interior decorating squad.

i wouldnt be excited about playin with a gay guy, but its not like im gonna freak out about it, cuz unless being gay affects his play, i dont give a **** what he does after hours, because i dont really care about race/orientation/religion, i care more about their personality and their play. but, ill give some examples of player personalities: i dont want TO on my team, but i dont want amaechi on my team either (TO is an asshole, but hes good; and amaechi is a great guy, but hes a benchwarmer).

...if you dont think that Tim spoke for a majority of the NBA youre in denial...why do you think players wait to come out after they are out of the league...openly gay players would get run out or made to feel unwelcome...
