the bible as well as all major world religions have a common source we now call Paganism, Egyptian Mythology, Greek Mythology and basically Hermetic Philosophy. The ancients may not have been as technological as we are (although some would argue they where more so) but they certainly had a deeper understanding of the world we experience and the stars above through study of shape, number and oneself. Teachers of Hermetic Thought today are more than often confined to memberships and are ridiculed by religious groups and people that do not understand, and are thus named "Occult" "Satanic" or "Illuminati". You should check out Manly P. Hall, John Michell (authors) and Danny Wilten on YouTube.
