I loved that book and it was most definately when he was face with the Cyclops.

I would say when he defeted the Cyclops. He was very clever about it. He told the cyclops his name was no one. The men put a giant rod in the cyclops's eye so he was blind. Then Odysseus escaped from the cave with his men, while they held on to the stomache of the sheep that were also in the cave. When the cyclops went after them after the boarded the ship he yelled to his brother that no one was getting away. I think Odysseus had to have a lot of courage to do that to a son of Poseidon.
