Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was having an extramarital affair even as he led the charge against President Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky affair, he acknowledged in an interview with a conservative Christian group. I can't believe people still like this man, he is no better than Bill Clinton.

Remember this truism for EVERYTHING in life:

Anyone so intent on pointing their finger at you has 4 fingers pointing back at themSELVES.

The dirtiest often go to great lengths to point out someone else's dirt.
In bursts of irony Pots often like to call Kettles black.
Anybody throwing stones has a see-through house of their own if ya smell what The Rock is cookin'.

I've heard of this before long ago. I'm just surprised he finally admitted it. That Lewinsky stuff was always bull. That was ONLY a matter between Clinton & his wife & family.
Now if this was a foreign country's spy & he's giving up national security secrets in the midst of the BJ's THEN they might have had a case.

Women are attracted to power & this has always gone on since forever. Makes you wonder why these politic cats even marry.
Also surprised at Fox News putting it out there knowing how much they like to stump for the Repulbican party.

Just more of the same old story, conservatives with their holier-than-thou talk coupled with their scandalous personal actions. The sad part as I read some of these responses is that most of their backers have little or no integrity if you vilify Clinton for having an extramarital affair how can you sit there and defend Newt boy? Simple, you can justify any kind of behavior as long as it fits you, that adds up to moral corruption.

Edit.
For Loandude the why Libby is going to prison for his perjury is his perjury was a coverup for a felony, not part of a civil suit.

Actually, the image of him peering over his glasses as he pours over the divorce papers by the bedside of his first wife barely recovering from cancer suggests to me more George Costanza than Bill Clinton. And such a youthful man--hardly touches a comb to his head--just like a small boy. O Sure he is a heart-breaker! How the ladies resist I cannot fathom.
Still he is a prince compared to the people who voted for him. Like himself, they take what has been given to them as their due (--in exchange for the paltry service they glorify forever and ever--world without end). But it does end. Then they repent only in ashes. Perhaps fit in Heaven to scatter on the crapper for Jesus? No? More's the pity!

Newt is garbage. Not only did he have this affair, he even served his wife divorce papers when she was sick in the hospital, while he was having another affair! What a scumbag!
He is actually alot worse than Clinton, on account Clinton never pretended that he was all pious like Newt does, or did, or whatever. And if you actually know anyone who likes Newt Gingrich, you're hangin' out with the wrong crowd. Wise up--vote Big D (for Democrat) like the smarter folks in this country.

I can not understand how all the left wing pinkos are so dense. Many of them have their head in the sand and their @$$es in the air. I have answered this question at least five times. The pity of it is that the pinkos want to compare the bblow jjob and the adultery instead of comparing the PERJURY of Bill Clinton and the adultery of Newt Gingrich. If adultery is a crime in a given state, it is a misdemeanor and PERJURY is a FELONY in any state (and an impeachable offense). Do you understand yet? Cover yourself and stop and smell the roses.

Do you realize that if Newt joins the race for Republican nomination along with Rudy, McCain and Romney, the only one who has only had one wife will be the Mormon.

Most politicos have had affairs....your boy Clinton lied to a grand jury under oath by the way. Libby was indicted for the same thing .... different outcome though. I wonder why.

Every politician has skeletons. Some have snorted coke in their youth, drank like a fish, cheated on their wives, involved in graft, nepotism,,, anyhing else you can think of.

I don't care for Gingrich but I am not realy affected by his indiscretion(s).
