There is nothing you can do to stop corruption even if you fire every one.The root cause of the corruption is election funds.the people who give 2 to 3 billion dollars to get them elected certainly want many times back in return when they are elected. You will have to change the election laws.

Voting is a good way, otherwise pray for a miracle and hope the place is populated by people who stand for their unpurchased beliefs. The model is "Executive Decision" by Clancy; the one where all of Washington died and was replaced by real people. A suggestion would be to cut governmental salaries but that would increase the likelyhood of bribes and make the problems worse.

Every other November you have the opportunity to do exactly that.
If more people disagree with you than agree with you, and vote the other way, well...that's Democracy* for you!
*Actually, we're not a Democracy, but a Representative Republic.

Yes, we can fire them. We do it by voting. You have the chance to fire them on Election Day.
No guarantee, however, that the replacements will be any more competent.

Yes, it's called voting. And promote what you believe. It's amazing what you can do if you get involved. Hey, maybe you can even run for a position! Start small, maybe city council, and go for it. Just always remind yourself of why you're doing it.
