Pregnancy and Endometriosis?

Question

I'm just wondering how long it took others with endometriosis to conceive. My husband and I have been trying since Nov 2005, and I had a battery of tests that shown that other than the endometriosis I'm open and cleared to go. Thanks

I have pretty severe endo I am currently pregnant with my 4th. My first we conceived almost immediately, my second took us two years (we lost him in a late term miscarriage), I had a laparoscopy after that that ended in the removal of half of my right ovary, then we got pregnant with my third almost immediately, after her I had another laparoscopy which ended in the removal of my right ovary and fallopian tube due to the extensive scarring, it took me 6 months after that one to conceive this one.

I was diagnosed in 2002 after I had a laparoscopy. The dr. told me I wouldn't be able to have children. In January 2003 I found out I was pregnant! Your best chance to get pregnant is within a couple months of having a lap, before endo has a chance to start coming back. Good luck and don't give up!! It's harder when you have endo, but it can still happen!

My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant again since February 2004 and nothing was working. I kept getting cramping and period was overly heavy for me. After all kinds of tests my doctor had me in for a laproscopy and hysteroscopy. a day surgery where they scope your uterus. they found 5 polyps that were endometrial and removed them.June 2006. now we are 5 months pregnant with our second child. Doc told me it's much harder to get pregnant and pretty slim with a bad case of endometriosis, and that they got it in time that they could help so we could get pregnant. It worked!
