Given the right conditions, and a long enough period of stability, life WILL occur. Earth is a stable planet with energy supplied and water in abundance - wait a few million years - hey presto - life.

As has been seen with the "black smokers" on the ocean floor and certain forms of life found in caves and actually inside rock, the energy doesn't need to come from a star - geothermal or chemical energy will do.

As yet no "anhydrous" life has been found - so it looks like water is a prerequisite - as is a decent length of time for the life to evolve - but that's about it. As to intelligence - for us that was just a survival trait. Conscience is just based on memory (I remember what it was that I did, and I remember what it was that I was about to do).

As to the fact that the Earth seems to have been made just to suit us - that would be like a puddle saying "there must be a god - look, he made this hole exactly the same shape as I am" - we fit our surroundings because that's where we evolved. I remember a vicar saying that he'd read that the colour green was the most restful colour for us, and wasn't it good that god had coloured everything green just for us..... er, no - if we all got headaches from the colour green, we'd have died out a long time ago - if most of your surroundings are green, you'd better like the colour.

First of all i would start by refuting your allegation that God does not exist. As you have asked where has everything in this earth including yourself come from.?Look around yourself and everything natural, you will agree with me God is there and is real.Man using knowledge which God gave him has been able to do everything ,even going to the outer space but none has made a living thing even those without blood like insects, leave alone making something like a fellow human being.Human being was given power by God to create by giving birth only.Read the whole of The book of Genesis and you will see the work of God in action.I leave by praying for you to know God is there and is the creator of the earth and all things in it and we recognize our only God as supreme.None should be worshiped but God alone ,Amen.

I have enough problems getting through an average day to worry about where everything came from. You could go with the whole big bang evolution theory though. There are two choices in what you believe....to be honest I couldn't care either way.

why do assume something had to be created in order to exist? who created the air you breathe? certainly not god. who created the universe? couldn't have been god. think about it.
