Menstral-like cramping without bleeding is most likely your uterus stretching. Especially possible because you are still in your 1st trimester. If you are bleeding or it is constant or severe, please call your doctor or get to a hospital asap. Otherwise, a hot compress on your belly or a warm bath might spell a little relief. Don't hesitate to be checked out if you think you are miscarrying. I hope you are okay.

HI, welcome to the club!!!
The cramps are from the uterus growing and the ligaments on the side also.
Some women cramp the whole time cause of the growing
My first pregnancy was nothing but minor cramps on and off on the sides near the groin , if it gets the middle you should call and consult the doctor or nurses about it.
Now here i am 2nd pregnancy and cramps all the time. Im about 12 weeks pregnant and im the type that cramps with the evr growing baby. They feel like menatral cramps but are different. As long as no bleeding is present you are fine.

congratulations!!! i just found out i am one month pregnant like about 3 days ago and i feel the same way. This is my second child also and i do have cramping. I just went to my first appointment today and i talked to my doctor about and she said it was normal. Usually your body cramps a lil bit when you first find out your pregnant because it is making room for your baby in the uterus. Becuse trust me it needs all the room it can get :-)lol. But just to make sure you should wirte a list of all the questions you have a discuss them with your doctor. But i do advice that if your cramping gets worst or you began spotting blood or any other complications please go to your doctor asap. but i do hope you feel better in wich i think it's nothing bad at all!! so good luck and congrats again !

Hey,
I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 7 weeks and feeling very cramping following some slight spotting. Eventhough my doc said that this can be very normal it is quite distressing. I would suggest asking your doc to send you for an ultrasound asap so you can see firsthand whether or not your pregnancy is still viable. Many doctors will send you for one this early just to give you peace of mind. Mine did and it helped alot. I get my ultrasound in 3 days and can't wait to see what happens. I'll pray that everything goes well for you.

i had cramps early in pregnancy and found out they were just my uterus stretching, if you think about it your uterus gets huge so there has to be some discomfort. If you are worried just bring it up to your doc at your next appt and he can put your mind to ease. congrats

It could be that you are not 2 month and your egg is implanting. Or it could be your ligaments streatching.
