I seperate the pennies from the rest, put the pennies in one jar and the others in another jar. Saving for something, but I have no clue what that is maybe an iPod?

B.C. (before children) we would save it for about 4 months and then go on the gambling day cruise (we live in Fla). Since it was just spare change we didn't miss it and sometimes we even came back with more...but best of all we had a good time. Now, with children, we have been saving it for a pool, we now call it the "pool fund"....grandparents can even donate to it if they like.....

I save it all year in a big jug and then we use it for spending money when we go on vacation. If there is a donation or tip jar sitting on the counter at gas stations and such, I'll throw it in there and around christmas it goes in the salvation army bucket.

I put it in a jar on my nightstand, and when the jar gets full, I take it to the bank and either go buy myself something nice (by the time the jar is full it's usually somewhere around $50), or I put it into my savings account.

It's in containers all over my house!!! I have a big glass jar and two pieces of pottery in the living room that are collection places, and a piece of pottery in my breakfast room. There is tons of change in both of my cars. I just want to fill everything up and then turn it in for paper money and do something special with it.

My nephew gets all the pennies. The rest going into a change jar at the house. When I need a few bucks quick, I dig in!
