"The Phenominal" AJ Styles has been basically the face of TNA for years, and for a good reason. AJ Styles is good at every aspect of pro wrestling and has over eighteen moves in his arsenal where most wrestlers (like Roidtista) only have 6. Not to mention the fact that he has held a variety of Title's from various organizations 33 times, including being a 3 time NWA Heavyweight Champion.
Samoa Joe is the best big man in wrestling today and can do everything. It's no wonder why Vince McMahon was so pissed that he didn't sign him because Samoa Joe is better than Roidtista, Umaga, and Lashley combined and Vince knows that.
Personally, I think they are both important for the future of TNA and are extremely important to the company in order to compete with WWE because Styles and Joe might be the best two young wrestlers in pro wrestling today.

Styles is one of the men that will help out TNA until he retires. He has been there since the start, and will not be gone until he is all gray and wrinkled.
Samoa Joe though will also ride TNA to success.
Both of them will actually, you can't just use one person to have a federation be rode to a primetime federation.
I think that it will be the current supporting cast, and whoever else they can pick up in the future.

Both will be important. They have a different wrestling style. AJ is athletic, fast, and he makes moves I had not even known before I saw him.
Joe is an awesome wrestler as well, but he is more a power wrestler than AJ. Don't get me wrong, considering his weight, he can do things in the ring that are unbelievable, but he can also sell his power moves.
And I believe that both of them would not be a star in WWE. AJ is to small, and Joe is not muscular enough. I guess they both know that TNA is the best for them, and so they will do everything to make it successful. They want the company to grow, and this will happen sooner or later.

ID go with AJ, he is far more talented, I think Joe is overrated.
