and if i work from 7:45 to 3:30 how may hours is that????i have total it to the nearest 1/4 does that make sense????

If you took a n hour lunch, then only 6.75 :)

I'm not quite sure if I understand your question but 7.5 is 7 hours and a half of the next hour, so 7 1/2. If you work from 7:45 to 3:30 that's almost 8 hours... 7 hours and 45 minutes. Hope that answered your question. I don't know what the 1/4 part of your question means.

That is 7 hours and 45 minutes which would be 7.75. Each 15 minutes is .25 or 1/4 of an hour.

.5= 30 minutes, so 7.5 hours is 7hours and 30 minutes.

7.75 hours would be from 745 to 330 if 60 minutes were converted to 100.

so 7 3/4 in quarters

3:30 is also 15:30or 15.5
7:45 is 7.75

15.5-7.75=7.75=7 3/4 hrs.
7.5=7:30

It works out to 7.75 hours. But you probably have to deduct your lunch hour.
