It all depends on what the enviroment is like. Do you have alot of people to deal with all day? Are you always on the phone? Can you take breaks when the baby is needing you to care for them? It is a big decision and it really depends on what type of profession you work in.

My Doctor would always have her kids in the office, but my lawyer wouldn't. Just some examples

I've been taking my 13 week old son with me to work (office) since he was born - and it's really HARD! I'll have to find a sitter soon - because he needs so much more attention and stimulation that I can give him while trying to concentrate on the work.

A baby tends to need 100% attention, so I'm not really sure how effective you would be at either working or parenting if you try to do both at the same time.

If its a clean and safe environment and you can be focused on work and take care of the baby at the same time why not day care is expensive if I could I would.

No it is not a good idea, and is often against company policy for minors to be in the work area.

Of course you can! Just take him to work and if anyone gives you a hard time...call the ACLU!

Why are you asking this are you a mom or an employer?
I think babies need their moms with them no matter where they are.
