I have run points leagues with 4 and 5 points for +/- which forces one to consider the team and line that a player plays on as much as how good of a player they are.

My yearly pool is a head-to-head pool, which is a different way to do a hockey pool. It adds for more excitement plus it allows for serious trash talk.

In terms of roster size...9F 5D 3G (minimum of 3 appearances for goalies for the week)

All weighted the same...
G, A, PTS, PPG, PPP, SHP, GWG, (next year hopefully shoot-out goals will be an option)PIM, SHOTS, Wins, GA, SVPCTG and shutouts.
