the saying it takes a village to raise a child pertains to instilling values moral and social ettiquette in a child, letting them know what is and what isnt acceptable.

your q is flawed in the physical sense- it is not australia but the ideal of australian society that will and has helped raised all children born and bred here not to mention poor little sophie...
