You didn't say how old you are, but as a coach I see this a lot.

Your body changes as you get older. Either by height or weight...and what seemed easy a couple of years ago may be impossible now.

What you need to do is to focus on your muscle groups. Pilates is great for that. If you don't have access to Pilates. Then you have to develope your own workout regimine.

It should include core work: Abs
v-ups and straddle ups to work your core
v-ups : sit on the floor with your legs out straight and pull your body and legs together in the air like a sit-up, making a "V"
now do the same thing, except straddle your legs and reach between your legs during the "crunch".

Stretching: start by standing with both feet together, and touching your toe. Then work to a straddle position, reaching for one leg and then the other. Now, down to the floor in the same positions and reaching to your feet. This time, try to touch your nose to your knees. In the straddle positions, touch your nose to your knees and then continue to stretch your legs out further and see if you can touch your nose to your knees.

You can also do a handstand on the wall and let your legs straddle. This will also build upper body strength.

You are definitely going to have to "re-learn" your jumps and splits due to the change in your physic. It's ok...we all have had to do it at least once. I went through this 3 times!!! each time it took me a little more because as you get taller and fill out you have to compensate...but you can do this!

Just put your mind to it....practice...and you will get there!
Good Luck!

not an expert on cheerleading but I would say just do some simple stretching everyday to get your muscles used to it. it's something that's going to take some time for your body to get used to. it will probably be a matter of weeks before you are able to stretch like you used to. I would also recommend if you had the time to take part in yoga. That will certainly help you over an extended period of time.

You are getting old, get used to it. It happens to everyone.
