The only way to improve is to practice. Get a friend from the team to work with you. Have her feed you balls and always aim for a specific spot. After a while move where you want to aim and keep working on it. Usually when a ball gets lobbed, the raquet is tilted so that the face is pointed upwards a bit. Make sure you have the correct grip on your raquet. Also, if you do the motions slow-mo as practice being sure to always keep your raquet and grip in the right positions that will help.

Well it could be your back hand which is the weak spot of many people but I suggest you use 2 hands for you backhand for power and accuracy. Just continue practicing, there was no shame in your last match since your opponent started before you. Also to prevent your lobs just don't make your racket slant (especially not towards the ground unless you're doing net plays) because there is still a chance for a point if you lob than hit the net.

First of all, tennis is not for everyone. The first time i started playing tennis, i was 14 and i had never touched a racket in my life. After 1 year, i am now the highest ranking tennis player at my school. If i were you, i would play doubles. When u feel confident, u can move to playing singles. Don't be afraid to try new shots - and serving well will win u matches even if u suck at forehand or backhand. I won most of my matches because i have a good forehand and a 90 imile/hr serve. My one-hand backhand is too weak. SO - improve serve, improve forehand, constantly move, and try new shots (you'd be surprised).

I bet you heard this many times before- practice, practice, practice. To develop consistency, try to find a hitting partner that might be better than you. Or if possible rent a ball machine and practice your strokes. For accuracy, try to set targets when you are practicing.

I don't know what your question is either, but the only way to improve in tennis is to practice, practice and practice. Period!

You can take all the lessons in the world but if you don't practice to make what you learn second nature, you'll never improve.
