The Federation would crush them. They have more ships, faster ships, better weapons, transporters... The Empire has 2 death stars that have been blown up by small groups of terrorist twice, a false prophet who gets whipped like a punk in ep 3, and an emperor who if he could take over the world by himself, we would not have any star wars at all. The Maquis (different terrorist, better weapons) might be enough to stop the empire, seriously. That doesn't even take into account all the other people from the milky way who would not sit idly by while invaders conquered a neighbor people enemy or not; Romulans, Cardassians, Klingons, The Borg, The Dominion, only to name a few.

The emperor could kick ***, regrettably; no man or woman in this podunk galaxy has something even on the fringe of the stress, even in well-known man or woman Trek. A case may be made that the Kolinahru, before they grew to develop into their powers inward, to the administration of their thoughts, could have treated the Emperor, and any Sith, with their ambitious psychological powers, besides the undeniable fact that it truly is too undesirable, we are going to in no way understand because, as somebody else said, well-known man or woman Wars is "some time previous", and well-known man or woman Trek is contained in the destiny,

Depends on who was running the show. Kirk would seduce half the Empire and kick the rest of 'm's buttz. Picard would surrender and join the "Imperial Collective".

Tribbles would multiply, phasers would stun, and the Vulcans would mind-meld with the Jedi and return Logic to the Force.

In the end, the Gungans would inherit the universe. Me-sa so certainly!

The empire would dominate. They have the freakin' death star! Plus the force. What's the federation have? Phasers. Lame.
