Actually when Deep Throat's identity was revealed I remember O'Reilly and Hannity criticizing him and asking if he actually committed a crime and why Woodward was not forced to reveal his sources... that should give you an idea on how they would cover the scandal.
I can't speak for Limbaugh. I did not listen to him during this period of time.

You do know that Nixon was never impeached right? He resigned before that happened. If he were impeached then they would wait until the trial is over then most likely condemn him.
BTW, if you go through life wondering what other people think all of the time you'll never be happy. Just some food for thought.

Have you ever heard of the "Lincoln-Kennedy coincidence?"
I've always thought there was something similar between Nixon and Clinton. I have no idea why conservatives fall on their swords defending Richard Nixon, a man who sold them out every chance he got. He practically collectivized agriculture, froze oil prices, enacted affirmative action, signed the DDT ban and lots of other things. Clinton sold out the liberals every chance he got. Conservatives don't know how good they had it under Clinton; yet, liberals will defend him to the death.
I'm not sure what Fox and Limbaugh would do. Fox seems to be a little more enamored of "Neo-Cons;" therefore, they would probably be more likely to defend him. Limbaugh pretty much assassinates what he believes to be turncoat Republicans and he would probably demolish Nixon.

That he was an idiot to have taped all of his conversations. That what went on at the Watergate was not at all uncommon from either side but he should still resign.
