1) A hemmoroid is a burst blood vessel. They can become infected, which can be very dangerous.

2) I would work really hard to increase fiber in my diet, cut out sugars, goo (white flour), and alcohol. Also spicy food, just for now.

3) I would lubricate the area with something like prep H, so that the skin wasn't rubbing up against the injury

4) I would limit how long I sit in one position, taking more stretch breaks. I might even buy a "chair donut" at the drug store.

5) I would buy some baby clean-wipes, and use those after a bowel movement, to make sure everything was super clean.

6) I would SIT in a warm bath 2 or 3 times a day until it was better. I would make sure I re-lubricated often.

7) I would see my primary doc if these steps didn't help within 2 weeks.

A hemmoroid, sometimes spelled hemmorhoid, is a fat blood vessel in your anal area. It can itch and bleed. Wiping your **** hard is the worst thing you can do, as all you are doing is rubbing fecal material into your skin. Instead, clean yourself after a BM with warm moistened paper or cloth.

Pick up some Preparation H suppositories at a drugstore, and insert one or two each day, after your BM. Do not strain at your stools when using the toilet. Get fiber in your diet, and use prune juice once in a while. Avoid spicy foods. Try to get more exercise, and maybe you can elevate your legs and feet , propping them up on your desk, to keep your blood from pooling in your buttock region. Also look at your diet. Some foods can irritate this condition. If all else fails, doctors can surgically eliminate the problem by tying off the blood vessel with rubber bands.

obviously, you should be more gentle when wiping.

you should definitely visit your doctor because you need to make sure that hemorrhoids are the real problem here and not something more serious. also, your doctor can help you handle your hemorrhoids.

both web sites below should help you out in the mean time.

Sorry to nitpick. A hemorhoid is a varicose vein in the anus.
