Pentium II-350

It depends how much you have now & how much you plan to add.
Also, what the OS is & what programs you are running.

It's a rule that RAM will speed up apps on a PC, however, if you are running on a PII-350 I would not expect miracles to happen.... especially if you want to run newer software that released way after that CPU came out.

I would save the money & put it towards a faster unit. You can buy a used P4 with more RAM & a larger hard drive for under $150.... then you will see a real difference in performance.

Depends. You could add more but it would have to run at the right speed. If you are running anything above Windows ME your computer would be slow anyway so downgrading you OS is a better idea. Otherwise adding ram would speed up your computer, but whats the point if you have a Pentium II system anyway. You would be better of buying a whole new system.

NO get a new computer system go to www.hp.com and get yourself a nice brand new computer and not with windows vista that new version sucks and I think Microsoft should recall windows vista back. Get a hp with windows xp on it.

Apps may or may not load faster, but you will probably notice a significant increase in multi-tasking capability. Always get more RAM.
