i think they hav a chance but since ppl expect them to win it...i think they will falter....jayawardene is the worst toprder batter in the history of the game...the bowlin attack is useless apart from murali and feildin is awful...so sr lanka will stuff this world cup up....i think south africa will win it....sri lanka couldnt even beat a second rate club team like india who havnt won a major trophy for decades even with all the money and billion ppl....anyone who cant beat minnows like india in this world cup dont deserve to win the cup...

There is always a chance.
In the history Sanath Jayasuriya has won not only 1996 w/cup many matches for Sri Lanka.
If Sanath scores more than 60 runs / match there is always a chance to win that match. in addition Upul Tharanga is also in thirst for big scores. With Murali keeping the opposition scoring at minimum, Sri Lanka has a very good chance.

India is a much better team than SriLanka.You have called the Indian team minnows.When SriLanka couldn't beat India,how could they win the WC??There is no hope for SL in this tournament.
