it's a dog. I know cos in our local paper yesterday, a boy with diabetes who has a whippet puppy, was told his dog wasn't allowed into the classroom. Very disappointing considering the dog has been specially trained to detect whether the boy is hypoglycaemic and alert him by nibbling on his fingers. The boy can then take a glucose tablet before going into hypoglycaemic shock. The lil doggy is a life saver.
