If I use a vga to dvi adaptor to connect my laptop (vga output) to my monitor (dvi input) will the quality be good as connecting from dvi to to dvi or will it be the same as connecting from vga to vga?

According to the tech support for my TV and other technicians at retail stores, i dont belive u can convert VGA into DVI,,but u can convert DVI into vga. Anyone else wants to comment

No it will not, I use one myself, and I'm a freak about picture quality, and it should be VGA Quality.. But VGA does support up to 1080i so its not that bad :P
