i have a hard drive with windows 98 & xp on it .
i can't get rid of ether one!
what can i do.

Grab a download of the FREE Gparted, http://gparted.sourceforge.net/ and partition it as you want, like new!
Or, grab http://pclinuxos.com and click the Install icon!

Back up data!!! throw in xp cd press any key to boot from cd..... use recommended settings delete bothe partitions creat new GO GO GO...PS u may wanna d-load drivers first unless u have all cd's

I like using the free version of killdisk. Just boot off the floppy and wipe out all that mess and start clean and fresh.

Hi. Backup any data you want to save first. Go to "Start> Run>" and in the window, type 'cmd'. Type "CD.." until you see just C:\. Type ' format '. "Are you sure? " yes.
