I am applying to jobs all over America and it seems like "everyone" wants a few years of exp. I just wanted to know if I could in fact use my 4 year degree as some sort of exp. in any given field. Because it seems kinda unfair, that some person that does not have a single year of education, can with 2 years of work exp. earn more than myself, but maybe thats just life. =)

I would say no. Degrees fall under "Education", where your past jobs fall under "Experience."

I have a degree, but now that I'm out of school, I realize it means very little to me -- and even less to those I work with. God, they could care less.

Possibly, but only if you completed an internship or field work of some sort as part of your degree program. You can try it. I'm not sure if you could include it under the employment history section as you would not have been paid for interning or field work. You should be able to figure out how to word things. Choose an appropriate resume template that will work for you.
I once used my clinical nursing experience as work experience because it was hands on training. I put it in my summary of qualifications on my resume.
Good luck.

It depends.

Some positions will accept an advanced degree in lieu of some experience. This will be clearly stated on the posting.

Your BA or BS counts for zilch in terms of experience.

And you may not earn more that the degree-less fellow now, but in time (ie experience) you will earn far more.

And - you just graduated. You're not supposed to earn much or do anything right now. This is typical of just about everyone in your position...don't worry, you'll get there.

while i grew to become into working in media merchandising I had a shopper who had Tourettes syndrome and it particularly is a poor poor difficulty to stay with - he grew to become into working for civic workplace so grew to become into putting classified ads. He continually wanted to fulfill in a coffee save - I genuinely have spend very lots of time thinking and pondering Tourettes and how the familiar public can or cant take care of it - and the only difficulty i'm able to end is that often a incapacity is so offensive to different those that the disabled individual must be the only making the compromises. i'm SO sorry to assert that ! i understand what you're dealing with and how coronary heart breaking it particularly is -- yet my shopper might go into the coffee save and start up shouting out VERY offensive unacceptable words - the "C" be conscious and so on and everybody else in the coffee save might go away - there have been often babies there - and positively the words he might shout out shouldn't ever be spoken in the presence of babies. I used to artwork processing pupil loan extensions and write offs for a economic corporation in Canada - prepare to have them written off because of the fact of your incapacity and lack of ability to locate artwork. i'm specific they're going to try this for you -- i might have with none worry -- There are unfastened lance jobs which would be carried out from domicile, examine those as a exchange of a salaried activity -- be your guy or woman boss. As I reported in a prior post I genuinely have worked while i'm able doing unfastened lance merchandising and marketing from my domicile, it required using a telephone yet i'm specific you will detect something that in basic terms calls which you would be able to apply a working laptop or pc - Your vocational officer is dealing with fact - yours is an somewhat puzzling disabiity to artwork with, different than out of your guy or woman domicile - God bless you for attempting ! i'm no longer seeing one be responsive to self pity on your question in basic terms decision - sturdy for you ! the toughest difficulty IMO approximately being disabled is acknowledging your obstacles and admitting to your self and others you CANT handle and triumph over the entire international !! detect a real looking objective and decide for it, i'm specific you're able to do it ... Others will take exception to my answer yet I dont have self assurance in sugar coating fact - how does that help you if I mislead you ? It's just life. The BS,MS or PHD is great. But you get paid on the rubber meeting the road, not the college bills you have to pay.

I do not think it's appropriate to use education as "work experience."

No, sorry but it doesn't. It counts as a qualification, but not as experience.
