my hubby works out of town and comes home on the weekends. I know it is hard. Some days when he leaves i just want to cry but i know he loves his job and we are doing this so we could buy a house and move our kids to a better area. It does get better with time. If you can afford to try to call every day it will make you feel better to know he is OK plus give you a chance to chit chat with him about home. if there are times in the summer, if you have kids, to send the kids to grammas for a week then go with him. it will make you realize he probably loves his job and it is hard work that he is doing for the family.

A lot of otr driver wives are that way at first. But become to be happy when they come home but can not stand for them to be there to long or they get annoying. Go with him some. A lot of over the road drivers stop soon after thier little babies (old enough to talk) Ask daddy why he has to leave and that they want him home.

you have gotten too use to living alone by yourself, its not going to get any better, you will end up cheating on him and finally divorce him..... Be glad that you have a hard working man who loves and respects you, maybe you need to be with someone who pimp slaps you every minute.

Is it possible for you to travel with him? Could you get your CDL and become a team?
