You don't want to burn DVDs at very fast speed's, they will most likely burn with errors making the disk useless.

The only thing I can think of right now is replacing the DVD burner with another one that has a higher RPM or maybe out there somewhere there is a download or program that will make it go faster. Another idea is to got to the manufactures web site and see if the burner need so form of software update.

Which dvd program are you using? You can go to the settings and change the burning speed.

There are several factors affecting the burning speed also, and usually the DVD has a specified maximum burning speed.

For personal reasons, I usually adjust the dvd burning to a slower speed then the maximum stated as speeding up the burning speed will spoil your DVD or make it last a shorter time.

If your talking about encoding, then you have to get a faster processor. If you only want to speed up the buring process, then theres absolutely nothing you can do about it, except make sure you burn at max speed
