My prediction is that Vancouver will play against New Jersey in the stanley cup finals. They both have excellent goaltending and defense. The New Jersey devils are probably better in their defensive game but in the second half of the season, the canucks have had better offense. My prediction is that Vancouver will win the cup an the 7th game

In an amazing comeback end to the season Patrick Roy will return and lead the Avalanche into the playoffs.

The Avs will then get stomped into the dirt by the Red Wings who will go on to win the cup. It just doesn't seem the same unless there is a 7-0 shutout against the Avs on the way to the cup.

San Jose Sharks in 6 games over the New Jersey Devils.

San Jose finally has all the key pieces for its Stanley Cup run: All stars Thornton, Marleau, Guerin, and Cheechoo, a solid group of defensemen led by McLaren, Hannan, and Rivet, a talented bunch of rookies in Pavelski, Carle, and Vlasic, and a rejuvenated Nabokov. The only other team as complete as the Sharks is Anahiem, who will be defeated by San Jose in a classic Norcal v. Socal 7-game series.

It will be a Classic East vs. West Battle Pitting the Ottawa Senators vs. the Vancouver Canucks, with the Canucks bring the Stanley Cup Home to God's Country (for those of yous who are Geographically Challenged) God's Country is Canada.

San Jose Sharks. They have a solid team with one of the best powerplays and one of the best 1-2 punch players in Marleau and Thornton. They have 2 starting goaltenders in Nabby and Vesa. They have depth, youth and size. They upgraded their defense by adding experience and leadership with Craig Rivet. They also now have another awesome winger in Bill Guerin to add to their arsenal of attacks! They are on a small winning streak right now, and will put it all together and make a run for the division lead real soon. And next year....watch out for Devon Setoguch
