I don't believe that there is any concrete, definite meaning to life.

I think what it comes down to is that you decide the meaning of your own life. You ponder why you're here and what you're meant to do. Maybe you decide that it is all just random chance or maybe you decide you have a destiny and there is a reason you're alive. Whatever you decide then influences (to a varying degree based upon whatever that decision was ) what you want to make the meaning of your life; you then take that and you live your life based upon that decision. Or not. You can choose to not think about it or you can live your whole life wondering, never really forming a decisive opinion.

Think about the wording of your question. The word "meaning" is applicable to symbols, words, statements, art, and basically, anything involving COMMUNICATION. But life as a whole, is not a communication, but instead is an EXPERIENCE, a journey, (not a guided tour). It is beyond being categorized as some "meaning". Life is mystery, joy, pain, and survival and death, and reproducing more life. Eating, sex, work and play. If you are looking for some higher purpose, than whatever you DO to give life your meaning, then explore in Religion and Philosophy. But beware. Life is not meant to be analyzed or figured out intellectually. In fact, it cannot be so.

The meaning of life... many have said this is the hardest question of them all. I do not agree. The meaning of life to me is nothing more or less than happiness. We as humans spend our entire lives wanting to be happy. It is why we dream of cars, money, and women. Subsequently, the life is a large hunt. Some people come out living a happy life, others come out with sadness and regret. Some people complicate the issue, it is all about being happy.

What is the meaning of life?

I think that we have all heard that question asked at some point or another in our life. I am sure that we have all asked that question to ourselves at one time or another. Asking what am I suppose to be doing? What is my meaning? How can I find it, etc?

I think that the meaning of life depends where we are in our life. The meaning of our life when we are children are not very important realistically. After all, we just want to play and be with our friends. Yet, at that time in our lives it is very important because that is where we are. Then when we grow up, it changes.

The meaning of life has to be what is important to one in their life. Where they are in their life, what they are doing, and how they are living. It changes I believe. Depending where we are in our steps in life.

The meaning of life is when you realize you are not the architect of your existence. And that your life has a goal, not to live solely for self-sufficiency, but to share your life in service to others.
In this way you can find true peace, happiness and fulfillment in your life.

Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.

I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.

You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.

The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

The Meaning of Life is To Give Life.

For The Meaning of Life is the answer to this question:

God, what is Your purpose of Existence?

For God's purpose of Existence itself defines the purpose of all that exists.

I asked God that question...

God answered, "My purpose of Existence is To give life. Since you are made in My image after My likeness, then YOUR purpose of existence is to give life."

Everything that exists is an expression of God's thinking; thus, everything reflects God's thinking.

God gives life by His unique existence, and receives life when He gives life. All of existence gives life by its unique existence to that which receives life from its unique existence. This is Nature - the union of all living (eternal) things.

You are here to give life by your unique existence to that which receives life from your unique existence. So do what you love that nourishes those who love what you love.

This is your purpose.

To give life.
