I have a very strong feeling that once the US leaves Iraq and the real civil war starts between the Sunnis & the Shiites that they majority Shiites will take Baghdad and the Sunnis will create their own nation in what is now the Sunni Triangle & Anbar province. and I think the Iraqi Shiites will be fine with that because all they really want is their oil & Baghdad. Iran will certainly have some influence over a new Iraqi Govt. but because the iraqi shiites have their own oil they won't be Iranian puppets.

I don't think so .I think the days of Power for Shites in Iraq are very Numbered other wise Al Sadar will never run away back to Iran.Middle East is Sunni Majority and for all practical purposes Iran is not counted in the Middle East.So Sunnis will win in the End.

The Western World will win of course! The sunnis and shiites will kill each other off, then we'll move in and get all that oil. FREE GAS FOR EVERYBODY!

The Sunni/Shia fighting has been going on for hundreds of years and it will probably go on for hundreds more unless they kill each other off sooner.

No one; it's been going on for thousands of years and it will continue as long as they all keep to their Stone Age religious notions.
