Just wondering if anyone thinks I have a shot any and future in baseball.I'm a freshman in high school and I can get the ball at aroung 65mph from 60 feet away.I've improved my accuracy but I'm not exactly tall(5 foot 2)so is that to short to be able to become a pitcher?Any opinions?

The odds are heavily stacked against you, my friend. Maybe you'll grow a little more and get a little zip on that fastball. You may try throwing with an unorthodox delivery and possibly learn a knuckler. At your size, pro scouts won't even give you a second look. You'll have to go to college, put up outstanding numbers, and get taken in the very late rounds of the amateur draft. Then you'll have to fight, fight, fight to make your way up the minor league ladder.

Good luck to you.

it'll be tough. keep working at it and improve that speed. and who knows, you're only a freshman, you will probably hit a growth spert in the next couple of years. i had a friend who was 5' 1" his freshman year and now as a junior he is 5' 9" so there is still hope for you kid

No future as of now. I've played with guys who are 5'7'' who are lefties and throw in the upper 80s who haven't gotten any looks from anyone because they're short. You gotta grow and add about 25 mph on your fastball.

1 in 15000 chance of becoming a pro athlete. 65mph is not good at all sorry.

sorry but no. lots of people are much better speed and accuracy wise, plus your short. (just giving a straight answer.)

height will not have an impact, but your speed is not good enough.

if you can hit well, and field well, the only thing you need is a stronger pitching arm.

also work on breaking balls and off-speed pitches.
