my 9 month old got a toy belonging to my cat and the baby got it and chewed it up.....what do I do???

it was only like a tiny bit if he got any at all, its a lil toy mouse with catnip in the middle but theres still alot of catnip left in it....so if he got any he only got a small bit in his mouth....he acting normal and everything

You can call the poison control center to be sure, but your child should be okay. Catnip does to cats about what marijuana does to people.

Call poison control!

Catnip is safe for humans, but only in appropriate dosages, and I have no clue what that would be for a baby.

Tape the poison control number to your fridge, these things can not wait. Some things you must induce vomitting immediately. Or call 911!

Catnip is not toxic but it can give your little one a little of gas or upset stomach.
Go to Walgreen and get a product call Ipepac is a small bottle and it cost around $5.

Be calm...

I think your baby is safe, absent an allergic reaction or stomach upset. Catnip is not poisonous to humans. Some people used to eat or smoke it, thinking it might get them high. (It doesn't.)
