I honestly don't think Sanjaya stands a chance to win the whole thing. In my opinion, Sanjaya is like Kevin Covais (Chicken Little was his nick name and competed on season Five) and probably won't make it past the top nine or ten. Sanjaya has potenial, but he definitely needs a lot of work. He's still young, so he'll definitely have a lot of opportunities to build onto his career.

No, I am positive he will not win. The reason for him still being there is, one, all the teenie bopper 10-12 year old girls are voting for this dark haired 'Leif Garrett' look-alike, plus, he is the first Indian heritage contestant on the show, I can imagine that he has a lot of following for that reason...I don't mean that in a negative way! Last year, there was this kid Kevin on there - he came from The Woodlands, which is close to Houston, and a lot of people I knew voted for him, just 'cause they knew him and wanted to see him go on and be a celebrity!

Watch he will probably end up winning it all. It seriously does drive me on to think that this show is turning into a popularity contest. There are quite a few really talented singers who I would hate to see leave the show just because all of Sanjaya's fans are flooding the lines just to see him get through and win...just because.

Boy, i thought he was going home tonight. He reminds me of a Hawaiian Michael Jackson. I bet Michael is calling Sanyaya as we speak. Don't worry, I think Sanyaya will be if not the next one off, he'll be the one after the next one.

I think that he can sing but he is better than what he is showing. At times it seems like he is holding back. I can't see him as our american idol but he has great hair!!!!

i haven't heard him sing but he's kinda cute. i felt bad for him when the judges were raving about sundance, but i felt bad cuz he's good too. it was sad to see the video of those sent home
