Kurt is no longer a WWE superstar. He asked for his release in november. After WWE gave him his release he went to TNA, which has been around for about 7 years. Stone Cold is back because he is the special ref for the Battle of The Billionairs match at WM23 between McMahon & Trump. And ECW has been back for almost a year but might get cancled at the end of '07 because the Sci-Fi channel has told the WWE that they do NOT want to air the ECW program on their channel any more. And WWF changed to WWE about 5 years ago when the "World Wildlife Foundation" sued Vince McMahon and said that they had the "WWF" logo's first. Vince lost the in court which caused the "World Wrestling Federation" to become "World Wrestling Entertainment"

WWF became World Wrestling Entertainment because of a lawsuit from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). WWE also became a publicly traded company and is sold on the NY stockl exchange
WWE bought WCW and ECW. WWE split the brand into Raw, Smackdown, and then resurrected ECW. The wrestlers only wrestle on a distinction "brand" show. However, there is some cross over. Raw, Smackdown, and ECW each have a world champion. The ECW champion is fighting Umaga (a WWE reject). If Umaga wins, Donald Trump shaves his head. If Lashley wins, the Vince shaves his head. Austin is hurt and doesn't wrestle anymore, but came back to be the referee.
TNA is a separate company. "Total Nonstop Action" has been around for about 5-6 years and was started by Jeff Jarrett. Dixie Carter (yes, from Designing Women) is a part owners. The old NWA world championship belt is the TNA world title. This contract expires next year, so TNA will develop a new world title. TNA used to only run pay-per-views, but recently got a 1 hours TV slot. TNA doesn't have good storylines, but they have athletic wrestling and wrestle in a six sided ring. Sting wrestles in TNA.
Hope this helps.

Vince has a match against trump in battle of the billionairs, whoever loses get their head shaved, they both choose a representative vince representative: Umaga Trump representative: Bobby Lasheley and the guest referee is steve austin

TNA has been around since 2002 and was founded by Jerry Jarrett and Jeff Jarrett. It is in no way affiliated with WWE or Vince McMahon. Kurt Angle was released from WWE and signed with TNA. TNA was originally a member of the NWA, but withdrew from them 3 years ago. Their titles are still referred to as NWA titles, but that's about to change, as they are rumored to be dropping the NWA name completely.
TNA is owned by Panda Energy International, whose chairman is Robert Carter. He and his wife own TNA and their daughter Dixie Carter is the President of TNA. She is NOT the same Dixie Carter from Designing Women (click link below for pic of TNA President Dixie Carter with Jerry Jarrett).

Vince McMahon bought ECW and it is now a WWE show. Austin doesn't wrestle anymore and is just there for a brief storyline and to promote his new movie.

well, tna and wwe dont have the same storyline, they are different companies. stone cold came back last monday because he is the special guest ref for the battle of the billionares match( thats the match trump's reprisentative vs mcmahon's representitive, if trump wins vince gets his head shaved, if vince wins, trump gets his head shaved), TNA is a completely different company, they have these little segment things sometimes where these two guys go and pretend to attack the wwe, but its not rreally happening...

the great amnesia element has been achieved way too many situations, and that i individually do no longer guard Ryan, and much extra so now seeing the way he seems to be neglecting Emma and how he's hurting Annie. I continuously got here upon that Ryan replaced into continuously written to be the huge hero, yet now I in simple terms see him as egocentric, the way he disregards Annie's emotions and is chasing after somebody else's spouse, particular he does have the sentiments he had for Kendall years in the past, yet given the suggestions he replaced into given he could comprehend that those style of emotions he has for her are in basic terms phantasm and he could be focusing on getting his memory/existence lower back. individually i pick Annie with Zach, I continuously enjoyed their chemistry, Kendall do no longer deserve him and Annie is in simple terms too stable for Ryan so enable Kendall and Ryan have eachother.

I just think everyone was tired of not actually working for their money and wanted some competition. They're all trying to make some money.
