Fried Rice noodle with beef

Somebody told me that this dish is banned in Sinapore. Isn't it true?

It's not banned but it's not always easy to get!
Aside from the Hindu and Buddhist issue of not eating beef as cattle are viewed as working animals, S-E Asian beef is often tough and 'chewy' and not really suited to flash frying in the same way chicken, fish or pork are.

Singapore does not ban the ingredients you add to your noodles. Even during the period where the mad-cow disease was on, Singapore assured you that the beef we imported are from unaffected sources, and we still do not ban eating of beef to go along with fried rice noodles.

Your source of info is not true.
