i just formated my other computer and installed windows 98 (not the second edition) . now i cant get my resolution higher than 648x480 and 16 colors. i wanted to install internet on this computer and try to install drivers from the net but it says i must have an higher resoltion to open the installation wizard... (i don't have any cd for my graphic card) help me please !!

find the name of your graphics card,use your other computer to go to the website,and download the driver\software on a disc (for the driver,,floppy) (for the software,,cdr)

Hi Some monitors will only support a lower resolution like yours. You can sometimes right-click on a blank area of the screen, select the ' Settings ' tab and try 800 x 600 and click ' Apply ' (NOT OK!). If your monitor supports this format you will be able to read the screen, if not it will revert in 15 seconds. If it works, click ' OK '. Then try to increase the color depth using the same technique. Good luck!
