Seeking for National Geographic pictures and article from the 1940's?

It's about Shark Fishing at Margarita Island. The whole article with pictures here in the web. My ancestor took the pictures and I would be ethernally thanked

Your best bet would probably be going to their website and using the contact us option at the bottom of the homepage and asking if they could tell you the exact issue. (You could provide the photographer's name. They might even be able to tell you where you could locate some of the actual pictures.) That would make it easier for you to locate a copy if you knew the exact issue.
