How fast will an automatic nissan 350z go if a twin turbo system is added? Could it poss. go over 200 m.p.h?

Go single turbo youll get more performsnce! it all depends on how much boost ! if you want more then 12lbs of boost you might need to get a super chip to modify your computer tune also you need to work on your pistons throttle body get a higher flow fuelpump dude Id need to know exactly what amount of boost you want your looking at spending over 15 grand to get over 200mph Id rather sell the 350z and the money you got saved up to modify it and get a corvette those go 200mph stock!! and you can find a 98-2002 corvette z06 for under 30 grand!!

Possibly, but very unlikely. Two things to consider.

1. The top end of the VQ35 engine is around 7000 rpm. The automatic 350z is electronically limited to around 155 mph, but even if you took off the limiter you'd be bouncing off redline at 170 mph. So first thing would be upgrading your final drive ratio (as well as probably beefing up your tranny)

2. The main reason why it's so hard to go 200 mph is because of wind resistance. Wind resistance increases in a square relationship with speed, so the wind resistance at 200 mph could easily be 2X the wind resistance at 150. That means you need to double the horsepower. 600 hp might be enough to get you to 200 mph, but you have to take care of 1. above. I will say that depending on who is doing the work on your car, 600 hp is possible, but not with a bolt on kit.

Now those take care of the academic reasons. If you take care of 1 and 2 you may very well have a car capable of 200 mph. But remember that at 200 mph you are covering over a mile every 20 seconds. This is very fast. And while this car might get to 60 mph in 3 seconds, and 100 mph in 10 seconds, it could take 25 or 30 seconds to get to 200, due to the massive increase in wind resistance. 25 or 30 seconds at this speed requires a very long (more than a mile) straightaway or a banked oval.

i own a shop ,and you know i don't think anyone would know this ,because there's not that many people who have tried this,but id say from experience that one would run really good if the engine would hold up,you have to remember you only have so many gears in it,and they will only turn so fast,so at some point your going to reach the limit of what they will allow the car to run at,even with twin turbo,s on it,there will be a limit placed on it by the gear ratio of it,good luck,i hope this helps.

properly it is a re confusing question to respond to because of the inability of element. the mustang is a larger horsepower vehicle and characteristic more suitable torque. yet when the nissan had a ludicrous volume of strengthen it may likely win. The cobra besides the fact which could have a severe strengthen also so their is not any thanks to respond to the question properly. The mustang has the more suitable positive suspension for launching off the line, because it likes to squat even as leaving the line, and the z would not. The z is a more suitable positive music flow, besides the undeniable fact that the cobra is the more suitable positive drag vehicle. The cobra could win the race, besides the undeniable fact that it may ok come right down to drivers...
