A plug is supose to be temperary. But me along with others use this as a permenant repair. On most tires and in most shops they will not plug they will only patch. With the exception of off road tires this is the better repair. But like most of us with little money you can go buy a kit for plugs for less than 15 bucks for about 6 repairs and then just buy the actual plugs next time for about 30 of them for the same money with out the 2 tools.

If I'm somewhat divided on the issue, can I put in a 'plug' for the patch?
