WVU has one of the most prestegious music departments in the world, but the faculty I've met are nothing but a bunch of jerks. Marshall, on the other hand, is not too well known, but the music faculty does know what they're talking about and I think would get the job done better because they have more time on their hands.

My future career is Music Education. Which school do you all think would be better?

Of the two, go with Marshall. You obviously have more confidence in the school's faculty and will feel better about your education there.

I don't know where you live but you might want to consider Indiana University at Bloomington. It is an excellent music school. If you are interested in music and the recording of music, the State University of NY at Fredonia has an excellent sound recording program that is part of the music department. The school's music department is pretty good, too.

Good luck!
