I'm in love with my best friend and I told her. She either doesnt love me back or doesn't believe me. I really want to be her friend but it's hard for me to ignore my feelings for her when i'm with her. I rarely ever see her and we only communicate with e-mail. And when I do see her, I always hug her and hold her tight. I kiss her on the cheek and neck and one time we kissed on the lips but it was quick. I love this girl with all of my heart but I dont want to hurt myself when I'm with her. I can't pretend I dont love her. What should I do? I want to be her friend but its hard because I have intense feelings for her.

whoa ur story make me cry, really, an uncorresponded love is kind of a break up, it takes to get over of it, that happens, but well at least u know what does she feel about u, u have to forget of her, that's so hard, but that's the only way to fix ur problem, just think of her as friends, nothing else, not evan a small hope of loving her,im sorry 4 u, but sooner or later u'll get over it or forgot of this, then when u get old, u'll remember this story and then laugh of it

Do you truely love her? Then why not sing or play a song of how you feel. I got lots of examples.

Well you can tell her again about how you feel for her and/or ask if she has the same feelings as you do for her. I think that there really is no way you can not get hurt with this unless you don't like her any more. Just tell her how you feel again and if she doesn't answer than I guess she wants to be friends with you for now. If she says that she just wants to be friends then that's the best for now. Either that or you two will be together as boyfriend and girlfriend or just friends in a way. I had the same problem and so did my other friends. I, though, kept it quiet until it was too late to say anything. My friends they went for it and were either rejected or are in a relationship. To tell you the truth, you sound just like you have the same problem as the friends of mine that asked me out. I think that you should just try one more time or just wait until she feels the same or if it is that extreme.... (and I'm really sorry for saying this) find another girl. I know that it's difficult and that I shouldn't be saying that but it's just one out of many other options to pick and do. You can just have the same feelings and be friends but it's really your choice what to do. I'm just trying to give you advice. I hope that you find the right choice and go with it. My advice would take her to the side, when you two are alone. Tell her how you truly feel about her. It sounds like she's shy. If e-mail is the only way you are able to talk to her, tell her everything how you feel about her. This will either make her feel really really giddy, or the opposite. However, if you guys kissed really quick, it really does sound like she's shy. Just take her aside, tell her how you feel, and she'll appreciate that you took her aside instead of in front of everyone. Then, after you tell her maybe she'll respond and tell you how she feels about you! If being friends is the best thing that she can do, feel lucky that she still wants to be your friend! Friends last a lifetime. Maybe later down the road she'll have the same feelings in return! It just takes time. But keep your head up!

Next time you see her on person let her know that you are in love with her and that you would like to take the friendship with her to the next level. But wait! If she has another men don't ruin your friendship sooner or later she would notice you and realize that you are the one for her and that all this time you always been there for her. Be creative, send her love letters, roses, come on if this is the girl you love fight for her. It takes more to win a girls heart

Your hormones are working too hard for you and you just have to control them. You are going through a "hot phase" and I re-think about the relationship. Give her some space to have her own time with her work or family and when she is ready to accept your love, you will not regret it. It is worth the wait if you know what I mean. Hope that helps.
