Well if every generation is "equally lazy" then why is the G.I. Generation considered The Greatest Generation for their achievements and skill?

Gen Y's parents are largely the tail end of the Baby Boom - not Gen X (we're a sort of gap generation between the two, generally speaking, but there are exceptions).

I think it's growing up without having to work for things. Good intentions gone awry on the parents' fault (whichever geenration their parents are).
