So my girlfriend and I are heading to Boston next week and staying there for only 3 days and two nights. We booked a hotel that is close to downtown. Mainly the purpose of us being there is to check out one of the pharmacy schools that might possibly apply to. However we also do have some free time and it is also our spring break so we would like to at least have some fun in the process. I havent been to boston since 8 years ago and so I was wondering if everyone can tell me what/where are the main attractions in/close around Boston, what are there to do and what are some of the "must do" things or other things that me and my girlfriend can experience and try out. It can be anything really...dining, entertainment, travel, etc. Just to keep in mind, we only have 3 days. I mean, both my girlfriend and I can probably go exploring on our own but I'd just like to hear some ideas. Any suggestions?? Thanks! :)

If you like history, try the Freedom trail,
The Museum of Fine Arts is one of my favorites. You could get Theater tickets.
If you like Italian food, find a family owned restaurant in the "North End".
The stained glass globe of the earth that you walk through at the Christian Science Center is cool.
So is the New England Aquarium.
Walk through Harvard Yard and Harvard Square. See the Smoot Bridge. (ask in Harvard Square)
Fanuel Hall market place is a usual tourist site.

Wife and I were there for 2 days last fall and we spend most of the time walking the "Freedom Trail" which is a self guided tour of historic sites in Boston. There is a RED line painted on the street (in some cases they are red bricks) and you just follow the trail. Things on the trail include Paul Revere's house, The Old North Church, Bunker Hill, the Boston Commons, and a few other attractions. Just check out this web site: http://bizkard.com/freedom/common/vstrcnt2.shtml

You will have a good time in downtown Boston at the Faneuil Hall and the Marketplace there with has lots of shops and eating places.
