if ur playin middle linebacker in highschool in the varsity level you should probablly be between 190-240 and an excellent 40 time would be like a 4.6, and you have to be explosive, and a nasty attitude

everything the others guys said is true, but dude it doesnt matter how tall you are, or how fast you are. coaches dont give a damn. Its how you play, bring the attituate that your best, even if your not you have to belive you are. If your weaker and slower than someone, just play smarter and tackle well, thats what gets you playing time in the end, because there is always going to b someone faster stronger taller or w/e than you.

in the pros? you won't make the pros as a MLB being only 5'8". if you were 6'2" 250lbs, then maybe with a 4.5 40. at your height and 185lbs with a 4.4 40, maybe a DB.

Try to work anywhere form 180lbs to 210lbs and look fora time between 4.3 and 4.6
