I have very fair skin. I'm currently using bare minerals. I'm happy with it, but sometimes I get sick of the powdered look. I don't want anything oily that will clog my pores. I want it to cover well and still look natural. Opinions are much appreciated.

I am now 47 and since childhood I have always cleaned my face with listerine and cottonballs, especially over and around the nose and forehead area. You would not believe the dirt that comes off. Though now I use a moisturizer by Mary Kay, after my face drys and bronzer for added color. I do not and very few times have used foundation, I always had breakouts when I did this. My bronzer does the trick. It looks like I have been in the sun.
When using a foundation, it should be the color of your true skin type and read to make sure it doesn't clog pores. A foundation is only meant for making you skin a even tone all over. Bronzer and cheek blushes are for the added color Which are both by Mary Kay. I don't have the powdered look either.

There is an amazing Mineral Liquid Powder foundation from Bee-Luscious Cosmetics on beeroyalproducts.com it has total coverage yet so light you won't even feel it on your skin, it is the best foundation I have ever tried and I used everything including bare minerals actually you can use the shimmery powder over as a setting to it. Good Luck

I recommend Cover Girl True Blend. Or if you like mineral makeup use Physicians Formula liquid makeup found at Walmart for a much cheaper price than Bare Minerals.

Maybelline Matte Mousse works for me. It's light and covers well for an inexpensive product. I, also, switch back and forth from the mineral foundations. Good luck !

-physicians formula makes mineral wear liquid foundation, non-greasy, won't clog pores, looks and feels like your own skin, and dispenses from a built-in anti-bacterial applicator sponge. (keeps make-up pure, no need to use fingertips for application, less bacteria to come in contact with skin)

I love Prescriptives flawless skin Total Protection liquid make-up. It's lightweight, natural looking, longwearing, oil free, spf 15 and great coverage! They also offer custom blending!

I broke out with SO many foundations until I started using the Mary Kay one. You could always try a sample. They are designed to blend into your natural skin tone and they are very light weight. You could always try a tinted moisturizer too.. two in one!

Of course the Mary Kay reseller is going to say it's the best! hahaha, I joke, I joke. Anyway, I would say give MAC's Studio Fix Liquid foundation a whirl. You would be surprised. It's my new staple foundation and it doesn't look cakey or weird. I am on my 3rd bottle!

Believe it or not Victoria's Secret Very Sexy line has really good liquid make up, try that, also Bobbi Brown is pretty good but you might have to go to a make-up store for that.
