I did a search using the key words: face mask history

Here are three web sites you may find helpful.

http://www.42explore.com/mask.htm

http://www.hallowfreaks.com/masks.html

http://www.chameleonmasks.com/history_of_masks.html

You can, also, try searching the internet for more sites.

The top 3 search engines are:
yahoo.com
google.com
ask.com

dogpile.com combines all three.

You need to be mindful, though, to separate the reliable sources from the unreliable.

This site from the San Antonio College Library offers a list of academic search engines and academic sites that you may find helpful.

Your school library is another good source of information and the librarians can help you to find suitable research material. Checking out other local libraries may be helpful, also.

http://www.artlex.com/ArtLex/m/mask.html

This is the quickest one I could find - there's several links on it as well.

I hope you find what you're looking for!
